Mostly a generic Crash Bandicot clone and a Crash 3 clone at that. With hub worlds that have mini games and boss battles giving you new abilities after you beat them. While that isn't it bad on it's own, the game doesn't have nearly as much of an identity compared to it's sequels, if you remove the different story and character, it's interchangeable with Crash 3. Not bad, but is the least memorable from the Sly games.
